ULRICH GROSSENBACHER, born in 1958 in Langenthal, attended Kunstgewerbeschule in Basel in 1975, and worked until 1994 as an artist and restorer. From 1995 to 1996 Grossenbacher studied film history and documentary film at Kunstgewerbeschule in Bern, and since 1996 has been a freelance camerman, camera assistant and independent filmmaker.

DAMARIS LUTHI was born in 1959 in Brienz, has a PhD in Ethnology, with a specialization in Southern Asia and Visual Anthropology.
